What do you use for a router/firewall??? Most routers, even with a 10Gb SFP+ Wan ports, don't have 10Gb LAN ports, and even if they do the Firewall throughput is not 10Gb. Especially with 64k packets.

Looks like every cat number increase means better quality in every direction which translates to better and faster throughput. In that case I vote there should be another number attached to it which indicates the number of wires. Ex "CAT-6 8C" I want to see will stand for connectivity. So in the future we can have "CAT-10 10C" where extra 2 wires can be used to check parody in real time without interrupting the TCP stack. "CAT-8 16C" where we can transfer more file in parallel without the instant parentage check. CAT-7 20C so we can transfer more files in parallel and I have real-time parody check. The number next to cat will tell us the speed and reliability and the number next to C tells us the capability.

@linus tech tips , Great video, this is what i do for a living, i would say this, i never crimp a cable with a RJ-45 as my first option. i always go to a keystone, with a 6 inch patch cable. Its to prevent broken or lost lines, plus easy change later if something happens to just the patch cable end.

for a year ago, that switch is STILL expensive. Its a 12port for $500. If it 12 port for $50, sure, or even for $100. But yar. I just did a Cisco 48port POE+ for $100 that has SFP+ ports so i used a 10GB SFP+ adapter and it works amazingly.
