Actually Windows XP (and 7 to some degree) had this kill switch. But now the try to collect data when something crashes and that data collecting can get stuck in to a crash loop. so Fuck Privacy I guess. Plus if the crash doesn't happen the game or program closes normally.

Sad thing is this has a higher clock and 4 times as many cores with more ram than my laptop from 2018

Ryzen is the only game changer that happend. Which is why my other newer setup runs on Ryzen, who cares about Intel these days? Intel isn't competetive anymore, they can't keep up with AMD at all. Their last good series was Sandy anyway, before they started with the cheap toothpaste garbage at Ivy. All the newer Intel CPUs are trash (I know you people owning a newer Intel will hate me when reading this but whatever, don't blame me for writing down the facts, choose better hardware next time).

This one is actually quite powerful already. I still have a working system that I used quite regularly until recently, built in 2007 using the famous Core Quad Q6600, initially 2 GB RAM (later upgraded to 4 GB), and the great GeForce 8800 GTS. In 2017 equipped with a small leftover SSD for the system, GTX 1050 Ti (needed the DisplayPort for a new 2k monitor) and installed win 10 pro 64-bit inter the xp 32. Still working just fine for browsing and playing videos, although I don't play games that much or use Photoshop (the only games I played on it were Diablo III and StarCraft 2, running just fine) 😏

if u cant bring up task manager on a game crash i like to do is: windows+tab> create new "desktop"> move to that desktop(or move the game there)> then try killing it again with task manager

With that performance, most people would find that PC quite fast and usable. It is probably more reliable than some brand new cheap PCs.
