I actually don’t mind hoppers not being pushable since that means that there is a transparent no move-able block that can be used. I know of a Cobblestone generator for 1.12 or so that uses that fact that hoppers are transparent *AND* not moveable in order to keep the Gen from breaking itself.

Shifting is meant to be walking slowly or carefully and the texture of a magma block shows some parts to be lave and some just rocks so i think the player is walking on the less hot parts to not take damage

Why doesnt lava buckets do damage, they are metal/steel buckets with lava, I feel like if you hold it for 20 seconds or longer it will start take damge, becuase taking damage immediately would be very annoying.
